Our mission

Platforms shouldn't have to choose between safety and privacy.

The internet is filling with bots, AI agents, and people who come right back after they're banned. The usual fix asks everyone for more: an ID, a selfie, a phone number. Good users pay in friction and data for what a few bad actors do. Helix ends that tradeoff. We verify the person, not the paperwork, and we never learn who they are. Platforms stay accountable. Users stay anonymous.

  • Alex Oberg, co-founder and CEO of Helix

    Alex Oberg

    Co-founder & CEO

    Sold his first startup to Ticketmaster in 2017 (via Techstars Boston), which became Verified Fan, the world’s largest bot protection platform. Alex spent the years after watching the same defenses he helped build get steadily defeated by AI, and started Helix to do it right the second time.

  • Anna Dorofiyenko, co-founder and CTO of Helix

    Anna Dorofiyenko

    Co-founder & CTO

    Mathematician-turned-engineer with a Master’s from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Most recently VP of Data Services at Zillow, where she led a team of 100+ engineers managing backend systems at scale. Anna owns Helix’s signal architecture and the on-device inference stack.

  • Mike Hall, co-founder and CPO of Helix

    Mike Hall

    Co-founder & CPO

    Former Marine and UCLA-trained data scientist. Built the original Tinder matching algorithm and founded its first data team. At Helix, Mike leads product and the ML research team responsible for the voice age estimator and the synthetic-voice detector.
